Martial Arts originated in Lakeshore towns?

Did you know that Philippine martial arts "Sikaran" (Paning-gara in San Guillermo) originated in Baras and Morong? This sport is alive and kicking in California's Central Valley who's founder is a graduate of TCMC.

I remember "arnis" as our PE during sophomore but not "sikaran" (Tagalog voc. sikad, sikar, paning gara).
