According to Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) report dated June 3, 2008 , on numerous occasions, The Sanguniang Bayan of Morong failed to comply its own issuance of Authority To Close the Taghanging dump site.
DENR asked SB Morong to instruct BEST to stop accepting waste in Taghangin and strictly adhere to the new rehabilitation program of the said site.
